We have a current health department permit. It is valid until July 1 of each year and then must be renewed.

Fire extinguishers and fire alarms must be in working order as part of health department requirements.

Current camp phone: 585 457 4150. Phone is located at Camp Director home which is about 200 feet from camp lodge.

Cell phones do not work well here because of rolling hills. They will work up at the barn. There is a phone in the lodge from which you can call 911.

Rescue Squad - 911 - Strykersville/North Java Fire Departments (Mercy Flight available       if needed. I'm not scaring you. Just want you to know they are here for your use.) The Strykersville Fire Co is volunteer. They have a number - 585 457 3588. However, because    it is a volunteer company, calls are best made to 911 and then volunteers are alerted over scanners. They are VERY quick to respond.

Police also reached by 911. Call goes to Warsaw Police Department in Warsaw, New York. State police reached by calling 1-800-342-4357.

Evacuation plan for the camp lodge is on file in camp manual. There are 5-6 exits from the camp lodge and they are reviewed on Friday evening during safety rules.

The camp lodge is a two story structure which is accessible to individuals with disabilities.     Hot and cold water is available. It is drinkable and tested regularly by the Health Department.

Best directions are included on this website. I think you will discover coming down Rte 77   is the easiest, most direct way from Rochester. There is a link at the top of this page.
