Easiest Directions

The best suggestion for finding your way to Sprucelands: AVOID USING A MAPPING PROGRAM.

From points West of Buffalo, take Rte 90E to Rte 400. Exit 400 at East Aurora. Turn left off exit ramp; drive two miles to blinking yellow light. Right onto 78S through Strykersville and Java Village. Two miles past Java Village, turn right (not left) onto Pit Rd. Follow Pit Rd to camp driveway.

From airport: Drive out of airport across Genesee Street and onto Rte 33. Follow Rte 33 to 90W. Take 90W to Rte 400. Exit 400 at East Aurora. Turn left off exit ramp; drive two miles to blinking yellow light. Right onto 78S through Strykersville and Java Village. Two miles past Java Village, turn right (not left) onto Pit Rd. Follow Pit Rd to camp driveway.

From points east of Buffalo, take 90W to Pembroke Exit. Follow Rte 77S to end. Ends in Java Center at blinking red light. There is actually a highway sign that says '77 ends'. Turn right onto 78N. Drive 1000 feet; turn left onto Pit Rd. Camp driveway is third drive on left.

From points south of Buffalo, take Rte 17W. Exit at Belfast, Rte 19N. Follow 19N to Route 78. Turn left onto Route 78. Follow 78N through blinking yellow stoplight in Java Center. Drive 1000 feet. Turn left onto Pit Rd. Driveway is third on left.
