Register early and use our discounts!

 Camp Availability

There are 60 camper spaces in each session of summer camp.

Campers start sending in their registrations in September, taking advantage of the early bird discounts that are offered on the website. You will find those discounts most easily by following this link to camp application.

Accelerated Horsemasters: you must send in your registrations as soon as you know your schedule. We make 15 Accelerated Horsemaster spots available in each session, and those spaces often fill quickly.

All sessions are open at the moment. If your schedule requires that you register in a particular session, you may want to make your scheduling decisions and mail in your camp application and deposit.

CIT spots are open, and they fill very quickly. We welcome your interest in joining us as a CIT and look forward to your active participation in the leadership training we offer. Please know that this is in fact leadership training and we trust you will not become involved as a CIT unless you are dedicated to the training. This is not a program option for campers simply wanting a break in their tuition.

Contact Eileen should you have questions about the registration process, or if you discover you want to talk about programming.

Click on Sprucelands Blog for information about what happened at camp last summer and what is happening across the year. It's a way for us to stay in touch and include you in the Sprucelands experience year round.

Summer Camp Theme

Every summer we have a theme. That theme brings us together            in an imaginative framework for silly, creative and often meaningful  fun across our camping summer.

Using our imagination is part of the down-home-country-fun where  we get back to the basics. We use our camper and staff talents to entertain. Sometimes it means exploring the natural world. At times,    it means sitting and laughing about nothing in particular.

In the past we have celebrated Disney, Peter Pan, the Circus, trains, countries of the world, and even Native Americans. We spent one summer celebrating the Chinese Year of the Horse. In 2007, Harry Potter was our theme; 2008, we enjoyed SHREK; 2009 celebrated All Things Dr. Seuss, 2010 was Finding Nemo and last summer we had a great time with Toy Story.

Campers and staff are invited every year to submit ideas for summer themes. This year the staff brainstormed and I am pleased to announce that our theme for 2012 will build on the broad possibilities from travel in a time machine. We an venture into the past, present or future. We can pop into an event happening in another country or even in the United States. Who knows where we'll go with the time machine.

Building a time machine should be fun, infusing us with creative ideas for programming fun. Perhaps we'll make the entire lodge our time machine. So come and join us. You'll be infected by our enthusiasm as you discover the beauty, imagination and camaraderie of a Sprucelands experience.
