First, An Introduction

Sprucelands summer horse camp welcomes boys and girls, ages 6-17, into a residential, skills-oriented horse camp experience. Available are 8, 6, 4 and 2 week sessions. Horsemaster and Accelerated Horsemaster programs are offered as well as traditional camp activities. More specific definitions of these horse programs are found in the Summer Camp section of this website.
In addition to summer camp, Weekend Riding Clinics may be arranged for groups of 15 or more in the spring and the fall. Many Girl Scout troops take advantage of this opportunity for horse fun and learning. Others enjoy Camaraderie Weekends that utilize a horse experience as part of team building. With advanced notice, trail rides are also available for the public. We are happy to say there is something for everyone.
